Hooray Snow! I woke up early this morning because it was my turn to check in and I opened my tent and there was snow on the ground. It doesn't snow that often or that much in the Dry Valleys so I was excited to see the little flakes falling from the sky. By mid-morning all the mountains surrounding us were dusted with snow and it was so beautiful.

    Snowy Camp
I woke up this morning to find a snowy camp.

    Snowy Glacier
The mountains and Taylor Glacier are all getting a dusting of snow.

    Snowy Tent
All of our tents were dusted with snow, but it all blew away by mid-day.

    Snowy Mountain
The mountain that looks down on my tent is hiding in the clouds and is dusted with snow. It was amazing how different everything looked with a little snow and some clouds.

I could have watched the snow all day, but today was the last day in camp and we had a lot to do.

**Our To Do List: ** 1. Sort and pack up all of our trash. 2. Empty the endurance tent of all our camp gear and take down the tent 3. Sort through the leftover food in our kitchen tent. Put aside food for the next couple of days and box up the rest. 4. Pack up all of our personal gear in our tents and in the blue polar haven. 5. Take down the weather station. 6. Sling all of the fuel (propane, kerosene, and gasoline) together to be picked up by helicopter. 7. Take down the Scott tent (our outhouse) and seal up all of the human waste drums. 8. Sling the full u-barrels together. 9. Probably a whole lot of other small jobs that we haven't even thought about yet...

    Trash Duty
Tim is sorting, bagging, and labeling all of our trash. It will then be boxed into a tri-wall and sent back to McMurdo.

    It Takes Teamwork
Scott and Tim are packing all of our camp supplies into a tri-wall to be picked up by a helicopter tomorrow.

    Packing the Endurance Tent
After we emptied out the endurance tent, Tim, Scott, and Mark rolled it up and packed it away.
