Hi Alex,My students noticed the ultrasound gel in one of your photos and were wondering what the research scientists discovered in their ultrasound tests?

They are looking at blubber thickness and measuring it using an ultrasound machine. These seals have a lot of blubber. In fact, we've been getting measurements ranging from three + cm to over 5 cm.
