Live event on 14 October 2019 with PolarTREC educator Katie Gavenus aboard the Russian R/V Federov as part of the MOSAiC Expedition. Katie spoke with and answered questions from students at Brevig Mission school in Alaska.
In this lesson students research scientific field expeditions and learn what it is like working in the field. Students are able to ask questions of the research team as part of their project. Students then share what they have learned with their classmates.

The IceCube Neutrino Observatory is currently under construction in Antarctica, and will help scientists search for elusive neutrinos that can help us map out the universe in new and exciting ways.
