Learn about a diverse group of women with careers in Antarctica through mini videos and podcasts. One of the women featured, Dr. Stacy Kim, has hosted a PolarTREC teacher in Antarctica in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
Learners from 6th – 12th grade will investigate different science projects in Antarctica through the PolarTREC and the USAP websites. They will then make a short PowerPoint (or similar) presentation to the rest of the class. Learners can work independently or in small groups.

This site provides access to ongoing integrated geological, geochemical, and geophysical research on the volcano, Mt. Erebus in Antarctica. It is our goal to provide as much information as possible about all things Erebus. However, this site is also designed not to be overwhelmingly technical, and thus to be useful and interesting to both the general public and to the
