Hi(: So I was reading about the difference between male and female copepods and the C5 juveniles. Can C5 Juvenile copepods reproduce with other copepods? And are they a gender of its own or are they one of the 2? -Jacob Winegardner :D

Good question...C5's can NOT reproduce. They have not matured enough to develop their sexual organs...they are neither male or female - just juvenile - or young!

What do you mean by juvenile?

Chantelle Rose

Juvenile means young - like a child...the copepods are not sexually mature yet.
