Hi Glenn!

Just introduced my students to your expedition. We are in the middle of our own Antarctic studies (including Shackleton's voyage on the Endurance)! We will be following your journey, but can't find the link for mapping it. I see others had the same problem. Hope you can post that again!

We were just wondering if you had packed any special momento from home to keep you company or for good luck? You'll be hearing from us soon! Safe seas! Lollie & Redd School students

Hi I'm not Glen but in answer to your tracking question, I've been following the ship via marinetraffic.com. Just type in the ships name and it will give you its most recently updated position. I then put the cod's in google earth and get a pretty clear idea of where the ship is and its heading.
According to the latest update (2 hrs ago) the ship is at -52.43971, 147.703. Type those number directly into google earth and you will be taken to that location.
btw…I track the ship because I have a loved one on board.
Thanks

Hi Dale, Thanks so much for sending this tracking info! I help to coordinate the PolarTREC experience with Glenn. You are welcome to send updates to this forum throughout the trip. It will add a lot to the experience of those who follow.
All the best,
Sarah
