My mom and I enjoyed reading your journal about all the doors!!

Have you gotten off the boat yet?

If you have, what is the temperature?

Have you seen any icebergs?

In school we will be studying sound and we are going to measure sound waves.

Hi Nicholas! Great to hear from you! I'm glad that you liked the "Doors" entry!  We haven't seen much in the way of icebergs just tons of sea ice.  The Bering Sea needs some icebergs in my opinion!  We have spent most of our time pretty far from land and icebergs calve off of glaciers which form on the land.  Some days the sea ice looks like land though, it can be so thick and so far-stretching.  We have gotten off the boat lots of times when the ice has been thick enough- never on to land though, only ice.  The temperature is warm today- 32F.  It has been very cold some days.  One day the wind chill was -45F.  Brrrrr!  It "sounds"  like you will have fun studying sound waves.  I miss you guys!  See you soon.
