Mark, Three journals already that's great. I wanted to say hello and welcome. I went to Antarctica in 2009-2010 and look forward to learning about Siberia from your pencil and photos. This week you are meeting some of the world's best educators. It has been my great pleasure to continue to interact with PolarTREC educators both as they travel and as relationships have developed with our love of all things cold. The friendships you foster this week can be some of the strongest you develop in a career. Never have I in such a short time met and maintained contact with fellow teachers who are motivated, inspiring and fun. Enjoy the time in Alaska and know that us alums are ready to read and follow along on your journey.
