Well hello there! Quick update on your M's. They are right in the thick of the wild card race with the Yankees close by! GO MARINERS!
On a more scientific note, I have been checking on the USGS web site recently. There seems to have been a number of smaller 3-4 magnitude quakes in northern Japan and what looks like the Kuril Islands. I'm curious if you have felt and or seen an effects from such quakes?
I hope your trip is ending up well. It sounds and looks like you have had quite an adventure!
