Do you think this year's research was more successful than the previous year's?

No, I think each of the three field seasons were very successful--each year we were able to obtain the kinds of samples and data we need to answer most of our research questions.  Even year two, when our field time got cut in half from 40 days to 20 days, was a very successful year.
