We are doing our Going Green event at Hibbard and my 3rd graders have been cleaning their adopted beach and were wondering if marine debris reaches Antarctica? Have you seen any evidence of trash floating around, washing up on any of the "beaches" ( any campfire debris ....)? Seriously, though, have you seen any evidence of the trash people just toss any where that ends up in the ocean? My students are fascinated by the ice photos. .
