hey Ms. Dell hows the weather there? Are there any species there that you seen for the first time?

Hi Brandon,Nice to hear from you. The weather has been much nicer and warmer than I expected. And yes, I've seen many species of animals that I have never seen "in person" before. We have seen fur seals, elephant seals, gentoo penguins, humback whales, blue-eyed shag (a bird), sheathbill, Antarctic terns and, of course the fish we are catching. In the fish nets we have seen some amazing echinoderms, amphipods, and sea stars. Pretty cool.
