Was the ship so rocky that you had to hold on to something wherever you went or could you walk around easily?

Before the ship left the dock did the team go over safety procedures for different weather situations?

Hi Nichole-lol, yes there were many times where you had to hold on to something. The funniest times were going up the inside stairs, which were pretty steep, but if you timed the waves right, you could almost go downhill the entire way up the stairs....which was pretty funny! Other days were calm, and while still rolling, you could figure out the pattern and just adjust your walk so you didn't have to actually hold on to something.take care,

Hi Bill! I'm glad you're joining us! (:
Thought of you the other night, we're hoping for a good aurora siting next week as we head through the Strait!  Not sure I'll get a photo like yours, but we'll try our best.  Rough weather has subsided quite a bit, so was able to move from sleeping with immersion suit next to the bed rail, to the life vest!  They had the decks locked down for about 36 hours, but we were still able to run the CTD.  
Great ship though so no worries!
