The last few weeks my class has been busy reviewing the PolarTREC website. From the site we selected various activities, sent questions to other expeditions that are presently deployed and made a strategy for public outreach.
The activities followed the visitation from Dr. Leventer. Her amazing presentation and ability to explain even the most complex scientific concepts in laymen's termscaptivated the audience. As you can see from the pictures it has become a multi level effort involving kindergarten through High school.
