The Arctic Scenes for Stargate Continuum (now on DVD) were filmed at the APLIS '07 ice camp, before the SEDNAIn addition to being the acronym for this research project (Sea-ice Experiment—Dynamic Nature of the Arctic), SEDNA is also the name of the Inuit Goddess of the Sea. There are several variations of the mythological story of SEDNA, click here to read one. scientists arrived. It is interesting to read about the experiance the film crew and actors had on the Arctic sea ice, just before the scientific crew arrived.
