Our class mascot, SloMo and I have arrived back home to Texas. The last month has been such an incredible experience. I learned so much about phenology, plants, and ecosystems, but mostly how science works in the field.

I am still in awe of the people I got to meet, hang out with, and learn from.

The people that opened up their labs and field sites to me are truly some of the most inspiring people I have met. Not only are they incredibly smart and great at problem solving in the field, expecially in remote places like the arctic, but they are patient and were so excited to help me learn about how they are working to understand how climate change is affecting our world.

I can't wait to tell my student about all my summer adventures. In the meantime, I've made a playlist of all the videos I created over the last 5 weeks in Barrow and Toolik Field Station, found below.

Thank you to the entire PolarTREC team and to everyone I got to meet on this journey. I want to expecially thank Jeremy May for being my guide on this wild ride. I look forward to collaborating in the future!
