Being from Texas, I'm not used to walking in the snow, but the hike to the field site in Barrow is relatively short and everyday there is less and less snow. The ground is like a sponge in some areas on the tundra and you sink in a bit, so it feels a little bit like walking in sand, but not quite. I wanted to give you guys an idea of what the hike is like. Check out the video below to follow along and see if you can spot where I fall down in the snow!
