I wasn't sure how it would come out. It's always interesting trying to sound coherent standing on the bow of a ship and moving to keep the satellite phone signal. Fortunately, the weather was calm and (relatively) warm. Glad you liked it.

How did the metal sampling go? Did it go smoothly without any problems?

The sampling went well. The scientists were able to collect the water they needed. Unfortunately, they won't know until they get back to the lab in New Jersey, Alaska, Denmark, Russia, and Japan whether or not they were able to collect enough to draw a conclusion. This is one of the big challenges with much of science (especially field science). It takes time!.
