Hi -

It all looks so incredible that I don't know where to start, but I'll try.

How cold is it? Do you get any free time and if so, what do you do? Did you forget to bring anything with you? What does TAT like most about Antarctica?

That's enough. Have a wonderful day and I can't wait to read your next journal entry.

Hey there Cameo!
Nice to hear from you! I always feel like I don't know where to start! It is overwhelming, and amazing, and fun, and exciting, and just wonderful! I always feel like I have so much more to share - I never know what to include and what to leave out!
It seems to be "averaging" about 5 below zero lately (in Farenheit!). It's cold, but tolerable!
Technically there is a little bit of free time between meetings, trainings, and the work that simply needs to get done. It's hard to feel like one can take advantage of "free time" because there's always something that has to get done. The saying "don't put off...." holds quadruple true here; we don't want to get backed up due to an unexpected glitch. There's always some issue to resolve, so free time seems slim. Plus... any free time I have, I need to be working on some class work!
I did forget to bring a towel - how silly! Luckily the "store" had some, so I'm all set!
I suspect TAT liked flying the plane best, but I've got some great adventures planned for him so stay tuned!
See you soon??!!
Cheers,
Robin
