Hi Mr. Wood,

This is Steven from period 3, these are my answers to the three questions from you.

Question 1: What factors cause this area to be tundra? Answer: The factors that make the area tundra are the temperature, permafrost, and weather.

Question 2: How will the factors change with a warmer climate? A:The factors will change because the temperature would increase, the permafrost could turn into soil, and there would be less snow falling. This would cause more plants and animals to begin to start living in the tundra.

Question 3: Why are no large trees in this tundra area? A: There are no large trees because their roots are blocked by the permafrost. Also, the temperature is to low for any large trees to grow.
