The International Arctic Research Center (IARC) at UAF is hiring a Diversity and Inclusivity Coordinator. This person will lead the enhancement of IARC’s Diversity and Inclusivity work to include justice, equity and access; build on the IARC Diversity and Inclusivity program and initiatives for our staff, researchers, faculty and students; promote diversity, equity, inclusivity, justice, and access efforts with other UAF units, and will serve as the primary liaison between IARC and UAF Department of Equity and Compliance. This person will align IARC’s Diversity and Inclusivity activities with UAF’s Strategic Plan for Inclusive Excellence. This person will support and be a resource for IARC efforts for equitable, ethical, and respectful engagement with historically marginalized groups, and align relationship building with Indigenous Peoples and communities while honoring and including Indigenous Knowledge.
