Delia Tosi is an assistant scientist for the IceCube project at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her research focuses on astrophysical neutrinos and in particular on developing instrumentation to improve IceCube sensitivity to the Southern Hemisphere. In the last few years, she has been leading the design of scintillator detectors to be placed on the surface as an upgrade to IceTop, the cosmic ray detector part of the IceCube neutrino observatory.
