Dear Glen I would like to know if the rougher seas (compared to by the coastline) got worse once the ship passed off the Continental Shelf of Tasmania. i.e. are the rollers worse in deeper water? Or was it only the protection of the coastline that made it smoother? We're following progress on the live Marine Traffic site http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:147.502/centery:-43.48178/zoom:8/mmsi:366610000 cheers Sheryl Gwyther

Hello Sheryl, I my opinion the waves and sea definitely became rougher.I spoke with the captain and his crew and he said that the maximum wave
size was 2-3 meters. Hope that helps. He believes these are good
conditions and anticipates the same. We should be at ice in the next few
days. Thanks For the question Glenn
