Through your experiences in Antarctica what has been your worst encounter, What type of adversity have you and your team dealt with?

Need to think about that one .... there were a number of challenges ... but I think adjusting to altitude was the most challenging. I like to think I'm in pretty good shape, but even after three days at South Pole I was still out of breath after climbing just one flight of steps. So I really had to pace myself and take time to do things slowly, and that was a big adjustment for me.As far as my team ... it was a GREAT group to work with, and that made being out in the field so much easier.
