Hi Travis,
All the food at the ice camp was brought in for the people to eat.  The Chef's did a wonderful job preparing the food and everyone looked forward to the meals.  When the temperature is cold and you are working outside all day you need a lot of calories (energy from food), so you can eat a lot of food!
