Where was the ice the thickest?

What was the most interesting animal that you have seen on your trip?

Esteban, the sea ice was the thickest in McMurdo Sound. A crew member told me that it was about 3 meters thick where we left the ship. I don't know if it got thicker later or not- I will check on that!The most interesting animal for me? The penguins! I was amazed at their "personalities"-I loved watching them
