Microorganisms in Antarctic Glacier Ice

What kind of animals have you seen since you have been in Antartica?

Unfortunately I haven't seen any living animals yet. Yesterday we found a dead penguin way up in the mountains along side the glacier. It was an Adelie Penguin and it must have been pretty sick to have wandered all the way up here away from the ocean. I will post a picture later.
