Hi Cristina, Loved the story about the marathon. Sorry to hear it wasn't real gold, though! Are you sure the bite test is 100% :)! Also, good thing you mentioned in the one journal that you'd rather be freezing cold than have the mosquitoes...I can see by the July snow that you've got a real command of the weather!! Susan!Thank you for reading my journals!! The snow was fun! Being from Los Angeles, where we NEVER see snow, it was just crazy experiencing a snow fall in the summer!!!
One thing that I found out that's a total bummer is that if you want to do cartwheels in the grassy Arctic tundra, your gloves will most definitely get wet! And then you're stuck with damp gloves the rest of the day while you're doing data collection. First hand experience!!!
