Hi in Arizona- thanks for the note!I'm intrigued by many things on this cruise. The multiple unique aspects of being in the northern Arctic Ocean have been very interesting. It has also been fascinating to see the knowledge and expertise that so many people contribute on a large expedition like this. As an Earth Science teacher who believes in the importance of systems science and seeing interrelations between multiple spheres of influence it has been really fascinating to see geologists, oceanographers, chemists, biologists, ice analysts, marine technicians, GIS specialists, engineers, IT specialists, and the ship's crew all working together towards a common goal.
