How cold is it their? what types of owls or birds do you normally see?

Hi India- thanks for the note!Since we are on an ocean, the temperature doesn't change much. We are usually within a few degrees of freezing outside. Now that we're in heavier ice the temperature sometimes is in the upper 20's. On one really nice day we were in the lower 40's. It often feels colder, though, because of high humidity and wind chill. Right now it is 31° F outside. (By the way, inside the ship it is kept quite comfortable.)
We haven't seen any owls up here but just this morning I saw another Black-legged Kittiwake, a type of gull.
