July 28, 2011 Hunting for HOBOs and... How do Glaciers Behave, Anyway?
I learned that glaciers form from snowfall in cold climates this means they take longer to form then I thought. I also learned that the glacier moving forward is counterd by the water so it stays in the same place. I found it interesting how when glaciers stretch they thin like taffy. I also found it interesting how there is so much rocks and dirt in glaciers. I was wondering why does ice always fall off of glaciers why doesn’t it stay put?
