My name is Alidz Talatinian and I am currently enrolled in an Oceonogrphy class at Valley College. I have been following your expedition and journal entries and I noticed Ms. Holzer say that as the team's physicl exercise increased so did the lunches. I was wondering what type of food you guys ate that are easy to carry around, don't need to much prepatation and provide an adequate amount of nutrition as to fuel you guys for your activities throughout the day.

Hello Alidz & thanks for following along!
Keeping physically fueled for the day can be a challenge! A typical breakfast includes cereal, yogurt, breads, some sort of protein, cheese, etc... From this selection we make our lunches and pack them into plastic containers so the sandwiches won't crush during the day. The students and PI's make multiple sandwiches to eat during the day, and we also each get 6 small squares (about 100 gr) of chocolate to eat during the day. By the time the end of the day rolls around, we are ready for dinner. The chef is a wonderful cook and has prepared wonderful (and filling) meals for us.
I will be dedicating a future journal entry on the food in the near future.
Thanks for your question!
