Hey there. My biology class has decided to do a poster on all the Polar Trec stuff and I thought that it would be cool to do your trip.  I wanted to ask a question about the trip because I was really interested in what the answer would be.  I was wondering what you thought was the hardest part of it and what was the most satisfying thing about the whole trip.

 Thanks a lot

I apologize for such a delay in answering your question.  However, I think that the most challenging aspect was getting used to the altitude.  Summit is approximately 10, 600 ft but the pressure altitude can simulate a higher altitude.  The best...so many bests...but working with the researchers has to top my list.  Learning about the questions they ask and how they pursue finding the answers continues to be the 'ah-hahs'.  I felt just like my students must feel when they are learning new ideas :-).  Jo Dodds
