Hi Jo,

do you really sleep in tents?  If so, getting into and out of your sleeping bags must be a challenge.  How does it all work?  Also, what are you doing in your 'spare' time?  Flying kites also?

It is fascinating to read your posts and find out what you are experiencing.

    Have a great time.

Hi Mary Anne.  The Arctic Oven tents are great.  I haven't checked out the tent during the day since I am always away at one of the study sites, but in the morning, the temperature is reasonable.  The other morning it was -3C inside the tent but at least 20 degrees colder outside.  My sleeping bag is the best along with the polar fleece liner.  I also wear a knit hat to bed and have my heated water bottle inside the bag.  I have not been cold.  In fact, it is quite cozy.  There is room in one of the heated buildings for some 'inside' sleeping rooms for camp staff, but given the chance,  I don't think I would choose to sleep inside.I actually haven't had spare time.  I am with a science team during the day and after dinner I work on the website till late.  But it is all good.  Everyday is incredible and you will truly enjoy Greenland.
Nice hearing from you.
Jo
