Hi Deanna! We're just back in school and I'm starting to bring up your journals in my earth science class. We will see what sorts of questions we can come up with, and also maybe a poem or two! Fun idea! I loved all the pictures of the mud grab, and wonder about the "stunningly beautiful day". It looks kind of cloudy in the photos, and also pretty chilly. I've not checked enough of the journals, so forgive me if you've had some ucky weather, but playing in the mud with 28 degree windchill sounds pretty cold! On the other hand, I'll bet any day on a boat in the Arctic is pretty awesome..

Hi Susan--
Any day in the Arctic is a great day, but we have had some fabulous days. I think I am spoiled with the sunny days. I can't even keep track of the number of rainbows and fog bow that I have seen. Today. the temperature was 57 degrees F.
It is 3 am and we are still working since this past morning. We still have 3 more stations to do. Yikes-- got to go!
