hi Im Willy and this is for the people for the exploration how big is the boat you roat to see pancake ice

Willy- We have stayed on the 420 ft. cutter ship the entire time since we are in ice. If we were in open water, we could take a smaller boat out to explore. While in ice, the only way off the ship is by helicopter. The helicopter is used for the scientists who are studying walruses and eiders. -Ms. Wheeler
