Hi this is Katrina from St. Mark's Catholic School. My question is how excited were you when Tim found the horse bone and how old was it?

Hi Katrina-I was pretty excited about the bone. We won't know how old it is until it is sent off to a lab in Illinois for carbon dating. Horses became extinct there over 12,500 years ago, so it's definitely old.
