How many streams have been known to flow on Cotton Glacier?

Great question, but one that I am not fully able to answer as the DOM team sampled from just one stream on the Cotton Glacier and did not have an opportunity to check out the whole glacier for other stream systems. It is possible, and likely, that over the course of a summer other stream systems form on the glacier. From year to year, the site of the stream the DOM team samples from shifts, but is within the same area every season. Again, great question and one that I wish I had a more concrete answer for.
