Hi Gary, I have been enjoying reading your journals so much! Finally, it has settled down with school out to let you know! I bet your class has had fun reading them, too. I know your enthusiasm and good humor are infecting the whole camp. Everyone is lucky to have you as a team member. Isn't it amazing to see only snow? It is like being out in the ocean but you see only white snow instead of water. Loved the glass of milk pictures. So which way is north? Can't wait to see you when you get back, Cheri

Cheri,
Do you want Magnetic North, True North or Grid North which are all different directions, Or do you want to know where the South Pole location or the magnetic South Pole location. You will have to specify a date as the pole locations are in motion. As I do not have access to the internet, BUMMER, Maybe some students out there could help out with this question.  HUMMMMM I see a journal entry in my future.
Laughing all the way,
Gary

Hi, Gary. What an amazing journey you have had! It has been a lot of fun to read your journal and see the pictures. I loved to hear and see how you all celebrated Christmas. I can just see you out there by yourself singing carols while filming yourself. The white elephant gifts must have been very creative and so much fun to give and receive. We are al looking forward to your last live broadcast and the kids are all anxiously awaiting your return. Don't fantacize about coming home to some warmer weather because we are currently up to our eyeballs in snow and enduring below zero temperatures. Looking forward to your return. See you soon. Mary Ellen
