Hi John, Do your students in California know much about snow and winter? What things in Fairbanks do you think you will share with your students? Thanks, Kristin

Hello Kristin!Thank you for the question. A lot of my students spend time in the local mountains and up at Mammoth skiing and snowboarding with their friends and families. I think that one idea I will try to share is that fact that in a place like Fairbanks many days during the winter are days that you have to go on about your daily routine no matter what the weather is. Here at school we may have to drive and shop and get to lessons in a heavy rainfall but that is much different than dealing with the snow and weather up north everyday.
