Hi, Mr. Wood. The things that cause it to be tundra are the longitude and latitude which are in the polar. Also the climate is cold and the permafrost. The factors that will change to make it warmer is when the ice melts. There are no large trees because of the permafrost (frozen solid soil) and the climate is dry.
