hey Mr. Wood!!!!! sorry i haven't replied in awhile, i never really got the chance:( anyways, here are my answers:
i think with all the water at the top gone, all of the animals and people wouldn't be able to receive water to hydrate and/or grow. without the water, it would affect the food chain because plants wouldn't grow, the animals eating the plants would slowly die and the carnivores eating the herbivores would die to and so on.
i also think that there are 5 maybe 6 elephants under the tree. i think they're standing under the tree for some shade from a hot day, and for the other question.....i have no idea what all of this has to do with plate techtonics:/ sorry for replying late!!!
