Hi, Ms. Dell It's Javaris from Biology Period 1, and I have a few questions for you. My questions are: What is the living environment like in Antarctica ?, What are the animals like in Antarctica?, and What are some of the most common animals in Antarctica?

P.S. I hope your having a nice time, and enjoying your quest. :)

Hi Javaris,Nice to hear from you. I'm having a great time. It is so interesting down here and so beautiful. My living environment down here is pretty nice. It is a small community of about 31 people. Some of them are scientists and some are the people that keep things going down here (cooks, running the power station, doctor, lab technicians, etc.) Everybody is really great, the food they cook for us is delicious. When I go outside for any length of time or if I go out on a boat I have to dress really warmly. Hypothermia is a dangerous thing. The animals are fun to watch. I've seen seals, penguins, dolphins, deep sea animals, lots of birds, even a whale. I have been trying to talk about them some in my journals. I'll keep doing that.
