Hi Paula- Just wondering if you're packed and ready to leave? Do you have all your layers figured out? Are you ready to leave winter in Chicago for fall in the Antarctic?

I wish I could say that I am ready to go but...well you know how it is.As the date creeps closer I'm getting more excited and more overwhelmed
by all the stuff I gotta do. Yipes!! Hopefully, I won't contract West
Nile two weeks before I go like someone I know.
How're the hot springs?

Luckily it's the wrong season for west nile virus.The hot springs....I actually get to go there with students this afternoon. The end of the quarter, end of state testing, and the last day before spring break. A convergence, of sorts.
Have a great 'cruise'. I look forward to experiencing it vicariously through your journals.
