what type of birds live there?Because I imagine it would be hard to adapt to the weather.

We have seen a few seabirds such as kittewakes, fulmers, gulls, and murres. We saw the entire population of the endangered Spectacled Eider one night in 8 huge flocks. Plus, we saw a snowy owl.They have to be very hardy to survive in such a harsh climate.
