  1. What is a land terminating glacier? Is it somewhat dangerous to the enviroment?
  2. What is the oldest glacier that you have ever walked on and took research on?

A land terminating glacier just means that it ends on land rather than in the sea. And as far as the oldest glacier I've studied ... I'm not really sure. It would be in the 10's of thousands of years old. Thanks, Tim
