29 June 2019 A Trip South and a Moose Momma

The weather was beautiful so we did our best to finish field work early and took a trip in the afternoon south on the Dalton Highway. We drove over Anaktuvuk Pass out of the tundra and into the boreal forest so we could see the northernmost trees.

During the drive we spotted some pretty cool wildlife, including a golden eagle and a moose with her two calves. Watch the video below to follow along on our afternoon adventure.
