My trip is quickly approaching and I am getting more excited every day. My students are thrilled and have been joking with me about the cold weather I am about to face. A few days ago the air conditioning in my classroom broke. I don't know if broken is the right word. I think I should say it is working too well. My room was freezing for several days. I have always had a cold room but now it felt like the Arctic. Everyday my students would come in and tell me that we were in training for my trip. I am sorry that my students had to suffer the cold but I do feel better prepared to face Greenland.

Being from Florida it is hard to explain to my students what cold really is. It's in the 60s this week and we are all bundled up in our sweaters and boots. Some of my students even bring their blankets to school. While on my trip, I wish I could bottle up the cold and bring it back to my students so they would know what the Arctic was really like.

I was challenged to do a thirty second in the life video. Look for it next week. I am filming it this weekend and can't wait to share it with everyone.

I saw this alligator while I was out walking. I guess he was also cold. Just warming up in the afternoon sun.

I can't believe how soon your trip is! Instead of bringing back cold air, you will bring back amazing photos from your trip. Have you started making a list to pack yet?

Of course I'll bring back pictures. I'll take so many that it will probably break my camera. I have started to pack. Everything is in piles waiting to go into the suitcase.
