Today’s entry by: Hans Christian (Greenland), Vince (U.S.), and Rebecca (Denmark)

Today we started meeting each other through presentations of the individual students. From there, we all got on a bus to Lake Ferguson where we sampled the water of the lake, which we later tested in variousways as an introduction to field research. From there, we collected flowers which we would also use as an introduction to field research as well as descriptive writing in a science journal.

We also visited the Tacan site where we interpreted the cloud formations and the glacial polish, where small striations were visible. Finally we visited the fossil site across town and many fossils were found, and we got very dirty.
