I've been searching the on-line resources for some more specific body size numbers and am not having any luck. Would you be able to point me towards a location to find the ratio placement of the fins to tail to head of the whale? We are creating a model and want to scale it appropriately. Thanks!

Hi-here is a good link with some measurement details from the American Cetacean Society. If it's not enough information you might consider sending your question to the North Slope Borough Department of Wildlife Management, as they have extensive information on bowheads. If you can't find the information on the website, you might send them an e-mail. Everyone there is so nice, and they are experts on everything relating to the bowheads and love to share!http://acsonline.org/fact-sheets/bowhead-whale/
Hope this is helpful,
